This nationwide contractor are an industry leading specialist in sports pitch construction, primarily focussing on the installation of all types of sports and athletic facilities throughout the UK. The business has seen an increase in projects for pro sport clients including Football, Cricket, and Ruby pitches & facilities. As a result of this growth, an opportunity has been created for a Contracts Manager from a transferrable background to join the team to assist in this next phase of growth.

Within this role, you will be reporting to the Contracts Director, you will be responsible for delivering a variety of sports and landscape construction projects to the highest standards. You will effectively organise resources including staff and subcontractors on site, ensuring high level Health and Safety standards are met, complying to company policy, and minimising environmental impact. You will also be responsible for maintaining client and customer, manage supply chain relationships and manager overall project performance.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role working on either sports pitch construction, landscaping, or groundworks projects. You will be confident in delivering high level projects, running teams, client liaison, completing valuations and contracts negotiation.

The Role:

  • Reporting to the Contracts Director
  • Delivery sports and landscape construction projects to the highest standards
  • Comply with Health & safety standards, company policy and minimise environmental impact
  • Develop client and business relationships
  • Site visits either in South East or Midlands


The Person:

  • Contracts Management experience from a relevant industry, i.e., commercial/hard/soft landscaping, or groundworks.
  • Experience with JCT Contracts
  • Looking to work for an exciting company with lots of room to progress
  • Full UK driving licence
