£40,000-£48,000 + 25+ Days Holiday + Bonus + Pension

Excellent opportunity on offer for a Production Manager, looking to work within a well-established, market leading design and manufacturing company, leading a multi-skilled team within a brand new, state of the art site.

Do you have experience managing production processes? Are you looking to become a pivotal member of rapidly growing business?

This company are well-established, with a large turnover and increasing demand from global customers. They have recently invested millions into the business, allowing them to expand their manufacturing capacity, facilitating structured growth plans. You will be joining two other Production Managers.

You will be responsible for managing all production plans, including leading multi-disciplinary production teams, creating and driving KPIs. You will also be working to improve efficiency in the production process, contributing to lean manufacturing techniques. Maintaining effective collaboration between design, sales and quality departments as well as assisting in health and safety will also be your responsibility.

The ideal candidate will have a good experience and understanding of manufacturing processes, including press and punch operations. Preferably previous experience in management with evidence of lean manufacturing contributions and an overall understanding of engineering quality and standards. This is a brilliant opportunity within a rapidly growing company, to take the reigns and be an important, senior member of the team.

  • Overseeing the whole production process

The Person:

  • Background/Experience with manufacturing processes and environment
  • Knowledge of press and punch operations ideally
  • Previous management/leadership experience
  • Understanding of quality/standards
