In this role you will lead on the development of Agri-Science and Technology. You will support the teaching delivery of precision agriculture and focus on the research, development and application of science and technology and digital innovation in agriculture. You will have a significant focus on the Colleges sustainability agenda and how this links with precision developments in Agriculture.

This role is 60% teaching and 40% course development.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on a farm where you have had to apply scientific principles. People who come from an agricultural consultant role are encouraged to apply.

The role

*Full training provided.
*In collaboration with the Curriculum Management, Farm and HE Teaching, Learning and Scholarship Lead to lead on the development of Agri-Science and Technology within UCAB.
*Work with external stakeholders and internal staff around the IoT developments.
*Development and evidence completion of KPIs in relation to Agri-Science and Technology.
*Establish relevant industry links to strategically develop Agri-Science and Technology and the sustainability agenda.
*Ensure compliance and adherence with any academic regulations, policy and procedure related to teaching, learning and assessment.
*Facilitate the development of resources and improvements within the department for the course/subject including maintaining effective links across College.
*Manage teaching effectively, including covering the teaching of classes as and when required.

The person:

*Come from an agricultural background where you have worked on a farm.
*Have used agricultural scientific practices.
*Want to move into a hybrid teaching role.
