Our reputation is built on long-standing relationships; relationships we hold with both our Clients and Candidates. We are committed to all those, who we work with and Data Protection is paramount to our processes. It is our promise to manage your details securely.
We are committed to the highest standards of data protection. We make this statement in order to give you a clear understanding on what data we process, how we process it and what rights you have.
Legal Basis
In order to process your data, we must have a legal basis to do so. In the majority of cases, your data will be processed on the basis of legitimate interests. Depending on the nature of services we provide you with, we may need to process additional personal data in order to enter into a contract with you. We may also seek extra consent from you in order to process certain types of data, such as special category data.
As a recruitment company, our business relies on collecting and processing personal data. It is therefore in our interests to process your data for the purposes of recruitment services, whether you are a candidate looking for a job or a client seeking employees. It is also in your interests, as without processing your data we cannot provide you with our services.
Categories of Data
While providing our services to you, we will process the following categories of data (among others):
Your name and contact details
If you are a client seeking employees, your current job title within the company
If you are a candidate, your work history and all other details contained within your CV
You may provide this data to us directly by contacting us about or service or applying to a job advertisement. On occasion may also collect the data from publicly available sources (including but not limited to your profile on a job board, LinkedIn, company website etc) in order to introduce our services to you.
Call Recordings
Any telephone conversations you have with your Rise representative may be recorded for quality monitoring and training purposes. This is to ensure that we always provide you with the best service, and to identify any areas where we can improve.
The call recordings are linked to your record on our database (if applicable) and accessible by other staff in the relevant department. Managers, directors and other staff in the department may listen to the call to carry out reviews on an ad hoc basis. The calls may also be used for internal cross-company training. They will never be shared with a third party or used for any other purpose and will be permanently deleted after one year.
Should you have any objections to being recorded, please inform Rise at the start of the call.
Cookies on this website

Storing your data
Your data will be stored on our database, which is provided by Bullhorn. Depending on the nature of service we provide you with, your data may also be stored on our network drives and in our accounting software.
We will retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary. Different laws require us to keep different data for different periods of time. You can object to Rise storing your data at any time by emailing mydata@risetechnical.co.uk.
Sharing your data
In order to effectively provide you with our services, we may have to share your data with our subsidiaries and Rise group companies in Germany, the Netherlands and the US. We may also use data processors from time to time to provide you with the best service. We will always ensure your data is adequately protected when sharing it and only do so when necessary.
If you are applying for a role with one of our clients, we will share your data with them so that they can progress your application. Once your details are on our database, we may also share your details and database record with LinkedIn in order to discover whether you have a profile and build a fuller picture of your work history. This will help us to match you to potential roles more accurately. If you wish to opt out of our sharing of your data with LinkedIn, please contact us on mydata@risetechnical.co.uk.
If you are a client, we will share your details with the candidate in order to properly inform them of the available job vacancy. We may also share your data with our auditors, accountants or government agencies when legally required to do so.
Rise will never sell your data on to third parties. We will not transfer it outside the EEA without your consent and without ensuring the appropriate safeguards are in place.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the following rights when it comes to Rise processing your data:
The right to be informed about the personal data the Company processes on you;
The right of access to the personal data the Company processes on you;
The right to rectification of your personal data;
The right to erasure of your personal data in certain circumstances;
The right to restrict processing of your personal data;
The right to object to the processing of your personal data that was based on a public or legitimate interest;
The right not to be subjected to automated decision making and profiling.
Please be aware that in some circumstances we may not be able to completely erase your data due to our other legal obligations. We will always inform you when this is the case and provide you with a written explanation.
