Assistant Site/ Project Engineer

To support with the growth of this company, we are recruiting for an Assistant Engineer to join our Renewables Division, which specialises in security solutions for utility scale solar farms.
On offer is the chance to joining a close-knit team, where you will have the opportunity for occasional stay aways and the chance to work on exciting projects.
In this role you will be responsible for the practical installation of security solutions of solar farms, as well as occasional preventative maintenance of existing solutions. Alongside this you will be checking and maintaining plant and equipment, trenching, cable laying and executing ground works.

- Driving 4x4 utility vehicles and towing 3.5 tonne trailers

The Person
- Competence in operating a 360 excavator (up to 10 tonnes).
- experience in groundworks
- Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge
- knowledge of basic hand tools
- full UK driving license
