CAD Design Engineer
Leicester - Commutable from Loughborough, Kettering, Corby, Hinckley, Coventry, Coalville, Market Harborough and surrounding areas
£35,000 - £40,000 + Training Opportunities + Employee Assistance Programme + Days based + 31 Days Holiday + Pension

This company is a leader in their industry and has been going for over 20 years, resulting in their consistent workload of interesting designs. They are now looking to add a new member to their highly skilled team to keep up with work during a high growth period.
The day to day of this role involves taking ownership of projects, producing 2D layouts/drawings for customers, creating manufacturing drawings, liaising with the production team and visiting client's sites.
The ideal candidate will be able to think outside the box and be able to problem solve, have experience working with sheet metal, have great customer service/facing skills, SolidWorks experience and be comfortable using Microsoft applications e.g. Excel.
The Role:
- Producing 2D and 3D designs
- Producing Manufacturing drawings
- Majority of work is office based with occasional site visits
- Being in communication with colleagues on the shop floor
- Understanding client's needs to be able to deliver projects within the set timeframe
The Person:
- Design Experience
- SolidWorks experience (preferred not necessary)
- Experience with Sheetmetal
- Experience with CNC Punch or Press Break (preferred not necessary)
