Are you a Controls Engineer looking for a highly autonomous role where you will be the technical expert for the entire plant?
This is an excellent opportunity to step up in to a pivotal role building state of the art machinery for a plethora of industries.
This global company offers an impressive range of high-value, custom-made machinery for various industries, including food, metal fabrication, and construction. With state-of-the-art facilities worldwide, the company is experiencing a period of rapid expansion and requires a cost engineer to lead the ongoing success.
On offer is a highly autonomous role where you will be the only Controls Engineer at the plant writing code from scratch and editing existing code. You will collaborate with cross functional teams to design, implement and, upgrade machinery on site. You will also be travelling to customer sites to help with commissioning (30%).
This role is perfect for a Controls Engineer seeking significant responsibility, where their contributions will directly influence the company's success and be the face of the company during customer site visits.
The Role:
- Programming Programmable Logic Controllers
- Working with engineering teams to help design and manufacture control systems on site (70%)
- Travelling to customer sites to help with commissioning (30%)
The Person:
- PLC programming experience
- Happy to travel to customer sites 30% of the time
- Ability to understand designs and review documents
