Controls Engineer

In this position you will work cross-functionally with engineering teams to work across the full project lifecycle, you will read customer specifications to design electrical control systems using AutoCAD, develop and implement all aspects of programming using RSLogix. You will also carry out factory acceptance test and troubleshoot any issues, alongside occasional site visits to customer facilities. You will have the chance to develop and strengthen your knowledge around the companies unique products through training.
This opportunity will suit someone with a controls and programming background, looking for a position with a high degree of autonomy, technical challenge and variety.
The Position:
- Work collaboratively with engineering teams across the full project lifecycle
- Read customer specifications to design electrical control systems using AutoCAD
- Develop and implement all aspects of programming using RSLogix
- Carry out factory acceptance tests and troubleshoot any issues
- Expert training across the organizations market leading product range
The Person:
- Controls Engineer with experience programming PLC's
- Looking to grow and progress their technical expertise
- Experience working with Boilers, Burners, HVAC, or Heat Recovery Systems
- Electrical Engineering degree or similar
