This role offers the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, bringing your designs to life while ensuring quality standards on the shop floor. You'll test new designs, enhance company processes, and coach maintenance teams on troubleshooting and repairing specialized machinery. Additionally, you'll partner with the maintenance manager on a range of exciting projects.
This role would suit an ambitious and driven Electrical Design Engineer seeking a role that offers the chance to receive training and progress in a supportive and rewarding environment.
The Role:
- Work on a number of technically challenging projects
- Create new control panel designs and design smaller circuits for machinery
- Coach maintenance teams on how to effectively troubleshoot and repair machinery
- Recommend solutions to design issues and improvements that can be made on existing designs
The Candidate:
- Proven expertise as an Electrical Design Engineer
- Proficient in PLC programming and automation systems
- Skilled in designing and developing control panels
- Hands-on experience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting
