My client is a leading provider of cost-effective solutions for water and air hygiene problems. They specialize in ensuring safe, efficient, and low-maintenance systems through expert assessments, tailored maintenance programs, and remedial work.

Committed to environmental sustainability, my also offers solar energy and air source heat pump solutions. They work closely with Facilities Management companies and Quantity Surveyors to deliver comprehensive water and air services.

As a Solar PV Service Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of clean energy. Your responsibilities will include installing state-of-the-art solar PV systems on domestic and commercial properties, conducting routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal system performance, diagnosing and resolving technical issues with precision and efficiency, adhering to industry standards and regulations to guarantee safety and quality, and delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships.

They are looking for a candidate with a solid background in solar PV installation and maintenance. You should be 18th Edition qualified and Part P registered, with a knack for troubleshooting and finding innovative solutions. You should be able to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients, and have a proactive and self-motivated approach to work. You should be willing to work at heights and in various weather conditions and have a full UK driving license.

The Role:

  • Carry out a range of electrical installations, including wiring, cable routing, and fault finding.
  • Install, maintain, and repair solar PV systems.
  • Ensure all work adheres to industry standards and regulations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong relationships.
  • Advance your career with opportunities for training and management roles.

The Candidate

  • 18th Edition qualified and Part P registered.
  • Experience in solar PV installation is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong electrical and problem-solving skills.
  • Essential for site visits and travel.
