Embedded Engineer (Boats/Self Propelled Vehicles)
Okehampton - Onsite/Hybrid
£35,000 to £45,000 + Progression + Training + 33 Days Holiday + 5% Matched Pension + Package
Excellent opportunity for an Embedded Engineer who has experience programming boats, self-propelled vehicles or anything similar to join a highly interesting company offering the chance to work on products only developed by one other business in the world, progression routes into Senior positions, and the chance to be involved in some of the most technically fascinating projects in this space!
This company are a global leader across several marine-based fields. They operate across Europe, the USA, and Africa, and due to project requirements are looking to add a Systems Engineer to the Okehampton - Devon site.
In this varied role you will program microcontrollers using C/C++ and/or C#. You will utilise your experience working on boats or self-propelled vehicles t You'll also get involved in some Electrical System Design and some cable assembly. You'll be site-based 5 days a week to start off, due the large amount of hardware work required.
The ideal candidate will be skilled with C/C++ or C# and have competent electrical skills. Candidates will have prior experience programming on boats or self-propelled vehicles and must be comfortable being site based 5 days a week to start.
