The company is a highly passionate and enthusiastic Environmental and Engineering Consultancy established across Scotland who specialise in environmental related projects. They work on Environmental, Engineering, Ecological, Geo-Environmental, Construction, and Water projects. The company has a motivated, forward thinking culture based around their talented teams of professionals and due to a strong pipeline of work are looking for an Environmental Consultant to join their Construction Site Service Team.
This is an exciting varied role where you will be based from the Glasgow office but predominantly out onsite or in the field. The region you cover will predominantly be the Central Belt however there may occasionally be sites further afield with staying away required. You will complete environmental auditing across a range of projects including residential developments, road infrastructure and renewable energy projects. You will ensure sites meet compliance in line with regulations and planning conditions, you will identify environmental issues and provide advise to rectify. You will overall be responsible for liaising with and advising clients and contractors to ensure all projects support environmental standards and compliance.
The role would therefore ideally suit a professional with an ecological/environmental or relevant background that is interested in pursuing a career delving into the environmental aspects of construction projects. You must have a full UK driving licence and be happy to travel and stay away.
