Your contribution will be pivotal for company growth, allowing you to progress technical through the business. They're specialists within the heavy civil / Transportation industry, with leading products in concrete & asphalt. This company will use their own products & work with clients to perform construction activities on paving, highways, roads & bridges.
In this role you will be responsible for quantity take offs, utilization of professional estimating software, hard bids, submittals, budgets & you will also be involved with contract administration & cost project management throughout the duration. You will need to collaborate with internal staff & have excellent communication with external stakeholders. Your contribution will massively spearhead the businesses growth.
This role would suit an Estimator looking to technically advance and progress their career & lead a team. This person must be open to new challenges and work autonomously on exciting projects covering multiple sectors.
The Position:
- Oversee all Estimating needs: Take offs, submittals, budgeting, bid proposals, hard bids etc
- Professional estimating software is a requirement
- Progression to senior leadership
The Person:
- Local to Albany, NY or willing to relocate
- Experienced in an Estimating position
- Experienced dealing with state, municipal's & private engineers
