Exciting Firmware Engineer position on offer for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career where you will be working on cutting edge technology and will be given the opportunity to progress to a senior position.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to further develop you skills by undergoing specialist training alongside getting the change to progress into either a technical specialist or help grow the department by becoming a manager.

This company are industry leaders in their field, they manufacture industrial products which are used throughout North and South America. Due to a period of rapid expansion, they are looking to bring on a firmware engineer to join their growing department.

In this technically challenging position, you will be responsible for the design, prototype, and production support of electronics for new and existing products alongside their test systems. You will be tasked with coding, debugging and hardware/software integration testing whilst suggesting recommendations for new and existing hardware.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience working in a company on electronic firmware, understands how to write firmware and is proficient in writing C code. Alongside this you must have hands on debugging experience on electronic hardware and must be familiar working with measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, multi-meters etc.).

  • Site based 7am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

The Person:

  • Firmware Engineer (3 years minimum)
  • Able to write in C Code
  • Hands on debugging of firmware on electronics hardware
