Head of Design (High Voltage)
Home Working Available - Occasional Office Visits In Midlands
£70,000-£80,000 + Progression to Director + Further Accreditations + Holiday + Birthday Off + Pension + Gym Membership + 4 or 5 Day Working Week Available!
Are you experienced with high voltage design and looking to join a growing company where you will be able to head up and grow a brand new business unit with full autonomy?
Do you have the ability to authorise high voltage designs from 11kV and want the opportunity to progress to Directorship within an award winning company?
This company are award winning and specialise in managing the legal process for power, utility and EV connection companies. As part of their expansion, they are now looking to build an in-house design team to work alongside their existing business which this person will head up.
In this role the successful candidate will work closely with the MD to establish and build the in-house design function of the company. Full autonomy will be given to this person where they will be able to run the department as almost a separate business. Remote working is available with occasional travel to the office when needed.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced high voltage design engineer / manager who can authorise HV designs of 11kV and above. They will also have the knowledge to help the company gain NERS accreditation and be ambitious to grow this area of the business.
