Are you an Industrial, Process or Manufacturing Engineer from a high-volume manufacturing background looking to take on an autonomous role with a huge impact? Are you eager to technically advance yourself, in a position where you will spearhead continuous improvement?
On offer is an exciting opportunity for an engineer eager to take the lead on process improvement and make a substantial contribution to overall efficiencies as the technical lead of industrial operations optimization. In this role you will also be able to develop your continuous improvement skills through learning systems and on-the-job training.
This global manufacturer has facilities based across North America, Europe and Asia, and due to their continued growth and ambitious future plans are looking to bring on an Industrial Engineer to help drive efficiencies within the Canton facility.
On offer is a highly involved position in which you will steer the continuous improvement efforts, coordinating with floor staff and senior management. You will be responsible for planning and directing industrial process optimization as well as supporting material handling throughout the facility.
This role would suit an Industrial or Process Engineer from an automotive or high-volume manufacturing background looking for an independent position, leading continuous improvement initiatives.
The role:
- Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen principles to create continuous improvement models and ideas.
- Analyze and direct processes for current and future manufacturing operations.
- Support for product movement and material handling.
The candidate:
- Industrial engineering experience within a high-volume product manufacturing setting.
- Lean Six Sigma certification preferred but not required.
- Looking to be the technical lead for continuous improvements.
