IT Network Engineer (Fortinet)
Austin - Texas (On-site)
Salary - $120,000 - $140,000 + 401k + PTO + Bonuses + Healthcare Insurances
Are you an IT Network Engineer with Fortinet experience looking to work for an exciting start-up company with excellent hands on training and the opportunity to progress into management?

My client are an exciting start-up in the renewable energy sector, specializing in energy and battery storage.
As an IT Network Engineer you will provide support for the securing, configuration, monitoring and maintenance of networks systems and services. This will include having strong skills and understanding of information systems, network protocols, firewalls, intrusion prevention systems and log management. A vital part of this role will be creating technical documentation and communicating project requirements.

The person:
*Experience with network and web related protocols (VLANs, IPSEC, TCP/IP)
*Experience with Fortinet and/or FortiManager
*Interested and willing to learn automation tools
*Knowledge of applying VLSM/CIDR subnetting and work with IP Schemas
The role:
*Secure, configure, monitor and maintain of network systems
*Conduct and evaluate packet sniffer captures and traffic flow exports via CLI
*Assist senior members with integrating and testing new technologies
*Project planning and technical documentation
