Are you a Junior Mechanical Engineer looking to tranistion into the world of purchasing for a specialist manufacturer, offering on the job training and outlined career progression?
This is an excellent opportunity to progresss into a Buyer role for a rapidly growing business and learn from industry experts in the aerospace industry.
My client operates across multiple continents and are renowned for their innovative products in the aviation and manufacturing sector. They are looking for someone from a mechanical engineering background to take on a Buyer role at their site in Cincinnati.
In this role your main responsibilities will be to negotiate terms with suppliers and coordinate flow of materials, products, and tools in line with customer requirements.
This would suit a Buyer who has worked in a mechanical or industrial environment, looking to develop their career and receive new industry training.
The role:
- Part of the purchasing team - 3+ people
- Negotiating terms and deadlines with suppliers
- Purchaisng and buying commodities and materials
The Person:
- Buyer / Planner / Purchasing Specialist
- Mechanical Engineering backgorund
- From any mechanical manufacturing or CNC machine shop environment
