Junior Project Developer (Renewable Energy)
Ireland (Hybrid) - Dublin, Wexford, Wicklow, Meeth, other locations will be considered
€40,000 - €70,000 + 30% Bonus + Company Vehicle/Allowance + Pension + Hybrid Role + Specialist Training + Wellness Benefits
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience or a strong interest in project development to join one of Europe's fastest growing renewable energy providers as they begin their expansion into Ireland to build new sites.
This company has already established itself as one of the key players in the renewable energy sector over the last 17 years, with plants being opened across Western Europe, the US and South America, and they are now looking to firmly break into the Irish market with your help! This company are looking for junior members of the team who they can provide training to in order to make them experts in their field.
In this role you will be working closely alongside the company's headquarters in Spain and will have great influence over the location and the logistics of the company's new sites across Ireland. You will also be responsible for building relationships and using negotiation skills to agree terms with property agents and municipalities.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in project development and/ or site/land acquisition. The candidate will also need strong negotiation skills and an outgoing personality as the role depends heavily on relationships being formed. For this role you will be travelling to prospective sites around Ireland and will therefore need a full Driving License.

The Role:
*Identifying new locations for renewable energy sites
*Negotiating and reaching commercial agreements with property/land owners and representatives
*Developing business concepts for potential and specific projects
*Overseeing the planning process, from permit acquisition to project completion
*Working across Republic of Ireland - Travelling to different sites
The Person:
*Experience or a strong interest in project development and planning
*Degree and or experience within in the renewable energy field, OR relevant experience in the property/land sector
*Very strong communication and negotiation skills
*Driving License
