Are you an experienced Heavy Mechanic eager to take on more responsibilities by leading a fast growing team in an expanding company where you will work on a wide range of machinery and equipment that are vital to projects.
On offer is an exciting opportunity for a lead mechanic that is looking to take the next step in their career by working on a range of types of Heavy Equipment while leading and training a fast growing team. This role would lead to taking on more team members and molding the team around their strengths in order to manage your own team where the other mechanics report to you.
This rapidly expanding Civil Engineering firm deliver projects and services ranging from large scale heavy civil to earthworks and utilities. In this role you will be responsible for the preventative and emergency repairs and maintenance of machinery and equipment used for large scale civil projects. Utilizing your skills and experience to ensure the projects run smoothly and train those below you.

The Role
- Lead and coordinate major repair projects and equipment overhauls.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and best practices.
- Provide technical training and support being the go-to technical expert for heavy equipment maintenance
The Person
- Experience with a wide variety of fleet vehicles
- Knowledge of SCR/After-Treatment troubleshooting
- Experience with automotive tools and equipment
- Valid Florida driver's license
