Manufacturing Engineer

$75,000 - $85,000 + Promotion to Supervisor/Manager + Full Training + Paid Expenses + Full Benefit Package

This company are industry leaders in their field, they manufacture industrial products which are used throughout North and South America. Due to a period of rapid expansion, they are looking to bring on a manufacturing engineer to join their growing department.
In this exciting role, you will be working closely with production, product development and R&D teams to design and develop customized and creative industrial solutions to meet a wide range of challenges. You will be required to travel to Mexico to help set-up a state-of-the-art plant.
In this varied role you will be required to design and improve the layout of the manufacturing facility, you will be setting up manufacturing lines utilizing lean principles. Alongside this you will be creating models and drawings of jigs, tools, fixtures, and other mechanical parts, in 3D CAD software.
The ideal person will be a Manufacturing Engineer with 3D CAD background. You must understand fabrication processes and have continuous improvement knowledge. You will be working with ERP systems so experience with this is extremely beneficial.

- Industrial background
- Understands fabrication processes
- Design experience (SolidWorks)
- Worked with ERP systems
- Continuous improvement background (5S, Kanban, SMED, 6 sigma or VSM)
