On offer is a day-shift position offering comprehensive training on handling hazardous goods. Once fully trained, you'll take charge of shipping and receiving chemicals, managing inventory, and reviewing shipment documentation. Your responsibilities will also include unloading shipments with a forklift, labeling goods accurately, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
This role is ideal for someone with material handling experience who is eager to advance into the chemical industry. It offers extensive training opportunities and the potential to boost earnings through overtime.
The Role:
- Load and unload goods from trucks safely and efficiently.
- Oversee inventory management and ensure goods are accurately prepared and labeled.
- Receive comprehensive training on OSHA regulations, SOMCA compliance, HazCom standards, and forklift operations.
The Person:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
- Strong understanding of inventory management processes.
- Forklift experience is advantageous but not essential.
