Mechanical Design Engineer
$75,000 - $85,000 + Training + Progression + Bonus + Excellent company benefits
High Point, NC (Commutable from: Greensboro, Winston-Salem, Lexington, Asheboro, Oak Ridge, Stokesdale)

My client is renowned in their industry for their innovative products and are currently going through a period of expansion. They are now looking for Mechanical Design Engineer to be based near their High Point, NC manufacturing facility.
In this role you will be responsible for designing and validating parts, components, tooling, and fixturing that fulfill customer requirements. This role will be split between the office and the shop floor 50:50.
This would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer, looking to work for a successful business offering specialist training and long term progression opportunities.
The Role:
- Mechanical design role - using Solid Edge and SolidWorks
- Speaking with production, operations, and quality teams on the shop floor to help improve design drawings
- Metal manufacturing / assembly line environment
The Person:
- Mechanical Engineer / Design Engineer / CAD Technician
- Used Solid Edge or SolidWorks
- Someone with 1-3 years design experience looking for training in a new industry
