They are at the forefront of advanced system design and now looking for an experienced mechanical engineer to take a leadership role.
In this hybrid position, you'll oversee mechanical design, coordinate engineering workflows, and support production from concept to fabrication. You'll be involved in everything from FEA and pump selection to supplier development and configuration management. You'll also represent the engineering team at conferences and technical reviews, ensuring the highest quality and compliance standards.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial product development, be a licensed Professional Engineer in Canada, and bring deep experience with ASME B31.3, SolidWorks, and mechanical system analysis. Experience in defence, fabrication management, or configuration control is highly desirable.
The Role:
- Senior Mechanical Engineer
- Lead mechanical design for containerized water systems
- Oversee fabrication, design standards, and supplier coordination
- Perform FEA and CFD analysis, check drawings, manage PDM
- Represent engineering in proposals, reviews, and tradeshows

The Person:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering + P.Eng in Canada
- Experienced in industrial product development
- Strong knowledge of piping systems (ASME B31.3), pump sizing, and SolidWorks
- Experience with configuration management and supplier coordination
- Able to obtain Secret Security Clearance
- Proactive team leader with strong communication skills
