Excellent opportunity for a Network Engineer to play a key role in a rapidly expanding food manufacturing business investing in the latest technology and innovation for a brand new facility.
In this position you will work collaboratively with engineering and project teams to configure, install and maintain a range of technologies such as routers, switches, VPN, VoIP, WAVE Circuits and firewalls. You will perform network maintenance, system upgrades, troubleshoot issues and provide effective solutions, as well as provide ongoing network security.
This is a great opportunity to work autonomously across a range of projects within a market leading food manufacturing business with continued investment in the latest technology.
The Position:
* Configure, install and maintain a range of technologies (VPN, VoIP, WAVE Circuits and firewalls)
* Perform maintenance, system upgrades and provide effective solutions in areas such as infrastructure upgrades, congestion and troubleshooting
* Conduct network maintenance, system upgrade and new equipment installations
* Play a key role on an ongoing project working every other Sunday
The Person:
* Network Engineer with Cisco skills WAN/LAN
* Manufacturing or production background
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Network Administration, IT or similar
* Flexibility to work on Sundays (1 in 2)
