Onboard Field Service Engineer
Travel across Northern Germany
€54,000-66,000 + Company car + Travel/ Overnight bonus + Holiday + Company bonus
Excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Engineer, who is looking to work for an international company and happy to travel across Germany to different Shipping Docks.
This company design and manufacture advanced technologies to address critical challenges faced by marine and industrial sectors. By providing innovative solutions and services, they help clients optimize operational efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance the longevity of their assets.
In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of the waste management equipment onboard large vessels. You will work closely with customers to ensure their equipment is running smoothly and efficiently.
The ideally candidate will be an experience Mechanical Engineer, who has worked in a similar field. You have been responsible for troubleshooting issues and finding solutions, maintaining equipment and repairing. Also, you will be comfortable working in confined spaces onboard large vessels.
Responsibilities:
* Install, maintain, and repair waste management equipment.
* Troubleshoot equipment problems and identify solutions.
* Provide technical support to customers.
* Conduct routine maintenance on equipment.
* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
* Maintain accurate records of all work performed.
Qualifications:
* Mechanical Engineer Degree (or related field) or several years of relevant experience
* 2+ years of experience in field service or a related field.
* Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* English and B2 German communication skills.
* Valid driver's license.
