Are you a heating engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to develop your skill set and qualifications within the renewable sector, fully funded by the company?

My client, an expert in renewable energy, is looking for a heating engineer to train in one of the many sectors they cover. From solar panels to battery storage, and heat pumps to underfloor heating, my client handles it all. They are installing renewable energy solutions across the South of the UK with a mission to make the country more energy-efficient.

This role is ideal for a heating engineer who is eager to learn about renewables and develop their skills in air source heat pumps. Full training will be provided, from installation to service and maintenance, with the company covering the cost of your qualifications. You will have the opportunity to shadow the company owner himself, gaining hands-on training and experience that will help you become an expert in air source heat pump installation and servicing.

The ideal candidate will have at least an NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and Heating and a minimum of 2 years of experience working with heating systems. While heat pump experience is not essential, it would be advantageous. What's most important to my client is a hardworking individual who is eager to develop their skill set and is ready to dive in.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Install, service, and maintain renewable energy systems
  • Receive full training in renewable technologies, including on-the-job experience under the guidance of the company owner.
  • Work across Bristol deliver energy-efficient solutions to clients.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and Heating.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with heating systems.
  • Enthusiastic and willing to learn about renewable energy technologies, particularly air source heat pumps.
  • Hardworking, reliable, and motivated to expand skill sets and take on new challenges.
  • Heat pump experience is advantageous but not required.
