Production Site Manager
Montrose, Angus, Scotland
£43-48K plus bonus plus benefits
40 Hours Mon-Fri (Days)
Are you a manufacturing/engineering professional with experience of having full responsibility on a small production site, looking for an autonomous role ?
This is a small site so my client is looking for someone used to being hands on and shopfloor based. The role will include hands on maintenance tasks.
This is a great opportunity for an autonomous position, supported by a larger group, where you will set the culture and standards. The company have a friendly culture and pride themselves on low staff turnover.
You will be responsible for all aspects on site such as staff and budget management, planning and scheduling, stock control and health and safety. You will also be required to undertake hands on manual tasks such as machine maintenance.
The Role
- Full time, permanent, Mon-Fri days based role for a large established manufacturing company.
- Managing and running a small production site
- Full responsibility on site including health & safety, planning, staff management and maintenance tasks.
- Line management of a small team.
The Person
- Experience in a Production Manager or Supervisor role for a small manufacturing site
- Engineering background including ideally hands on maintenance tasks
- Any experience of the agriculture sector preferred but not essential
