Senior Account Executive - Energy Services

Remote - Sites in California

$125,000 - $140,000 + Uncapped Commission + 10% Bonus + Travel Expenses Covered + Competitive PTO + Medical + 401K

Excellent opportunity for someone from a business development or accounts management background in the Energy Services industry to join one of North America's fastest growing providers of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency solutions for federal, public and private-sector clients.

This international business has a presence in a number of fields ranging from things such as gas supply and heating to renewable energy and energy efficiency projects. They are heavily investing into their North American business, and due to significant growth across California they are looking to bring in a Senior Account Executive to help them capitalize on further opportunities.

In this role you will be responsible for providing initial consultations, developing relationships with and eventually securing new customers for the company's distributed energy, renewable energy and energy efficiency services.

The ideal candidate will come from a Sales, Business Development or Accounts Executive/Accounts Management background in an Energy Services Company, preferably where they have had gained experience selling into M.U.S.H organizations.

The role:
* Finding leads and generating a sufficient pipeline of immediate and long-term prospects
* Adopting a consultative approach when working with existing and prospective customers, understanding business objectives/challenges and presenting appropriate solutions
* Liaising with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve complex, high-value deals that will make an impact for years to come
* Meeting customers and prospective clients in person to present proposals - a mixture of federal, public and private sector organizations
* Representing the business at various conferences, workshops, seminars and meetings to further develop company's brand

The Person:
* Demonstrable experience in Sales/BD or working as an Account Executive/Account Manager for an ESPC/Energy Services, Energy Efficiency or Decarbonization company
* Confident with generating and pursuing leads, closing deals and subsequently liaising with multi-disciplinary internal teams
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or Construction Management (advantageous)
* Active Drivers License
