Senior Cloud Security Engineer
United States (Remote)
$140,000 - $170,000 + 401k PTO + Healthcare Insurances + Bonuses + Equity
Are you a Senior Security Engineer with experience in ISO27001 or NIST 800-171, looking to work for an exciting start-up that offers excellent hands-on training and structured progression?

In this position you will manage and enhance IT security protocols while being responsible for overseeing security tools, detecting vulnerabilities, and safeguarding cloud platforms. You will ensure the company complies with standards like ISO27001 and CMMC Level 2 (NIST 800-171) through audit preparation and successful certification. You'll work closely with the engineering team to streamline software deployment and maintain system health, ensuring applications are scalable, secure and high-performing.

The role:
*Prepare for and successfully complete audits for ISO27001 and NIST 800-171 certifications
*Implement and manage security tools and practices
*Identify and mitigate threats and vulnerabilities within our cloud platforms
*Ensure application availability, performance, security, and scalability
The person:
*Previous experience as a Security, Compliance or DevSecOps Engineer
*Experience with AWS or GCP
*Experience with Python, Linux & Unix
*Working in start-up environment
