Senior Design Engineer
Derby - Commutable from Nottingham, Leicester, Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas
£45,000 - £65,000 + Hybrid Working Available + Flexible Working Hours + Private Medical + Company Shares Available + Overtime Opportunities
Are you a Design Engineer with experience working on jet engines/gas turbines, and are looking to take the next step in your career in a position of high responsibility and autonomy?

This specialist design consultancy is a key player within the aerospace industry, and due to plans for expansion are looking to bring in an experienced Design Engineer to aid drive growth. On site is a close-knit design team, with the company's head office being based in the US.
In this role, you will complete CAD Designs on interesting and challenging components, oversee the work of other members of the team, and be given a good level of autonomy when working on projects. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, as well as passing knowledge on to junior members of the team.
The ideal candidate will have strong design engineering experience (ideally 5+ years), with an understanding of jet engines/gas turbines. You will also have experience using NX or Unigraphics CAD software.

The Person
- 5+ years of design engineering experience
- Understanding of jet engines/gas turbines
- Experience working on NX / Unigraphics CAD software
- Experience with GD&T is desirable but not essential
