Hardware Design Engineer (New ultra-low-power tech!)
$80,000 - $120,000 + Stock options + Relocation
On-site - Greater Indianapolis

As a Hardware Design Engineer, you'll work alongside a diverse team of experts specializing in microelectronics, wireless communication, electromagnetics, and biology.

The Role:

* The key role would be to lead the development wearables such as smartglasses, smartphones, earbuds, smartwatches, and more.
* Analyze key system engineering architectural trade-offs, including power budgeting, analysis, and characterization, as well as designing high-performance, low-power products
* Measure and design with microvolt-level signals, for wearables or on-body/in-body devices
* Program embedded systems
* Conduct lab measurements, characterization and debugging

The Person:

* MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or similar field
* 5+ years' experience and expertise in designing compact, low-power, low-noise frontend circuits
* Proficient in schematic and board design using Cadence Orcad, Altium or equivalent
* Experienced in using standard electrical engineering tools such as oscilloscopes, high-speed digital yest equipment, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers and function generators
* Skilled in mixed domain circuit design, filter design, operation/instrumentation amplifiers, ADC/DACs, power supply design, high-speed differential circuits, microcontrollers, microprocessors and programmable logic-based development
