Shop Floor Supervisor (Machining / Job Shop)

The company operate on a global scale and have a fantastic reputation within their industry, manufacturing a variety of product across numerous markets. Due to their ongoing success, they are growing and looking for a Shop Floor Supervisor to join their team.
This role would suit an individual from a machining / job shop background with previous leadership experience, looking for the next step in their career within a growing business offering long term career development.
The Role:
- Leading a team of 25 people (Machinists, CNC Programmers, Welders, Maintenance staff etc.)
- Ensuring efficiency and quality in the shop floor operations of manufactured goods
- Involved with planning, scheduling, problemsolving and quality non-conformances
- Leading and driving improvements on manufacturing activities
- Mentoring and training new personnel within the department
- Monday - Friday, 1st shift (flexible starting hours between 6-8am)
The Person:
- Machining / Job Shop background
- Strong background with CNC machines and welding equipment
- Experience within a senior / lead / supervisory role
- Able to read and interpret engineering blueprints
- Manufacturing background Experience within a tight tolerance / aerospace industry would be advantageous (not required)
