Solar Project Manager
Yorkshire Area - Home Based With Travel To Sites
Salary Negotiable DOE + Van + Fuel + Enhanced Rate Overtime + Progression Available
Do you have previous experience in project, installation or contracts management focusing on domestic or commercial-scale Solar PV projects and want to join a growing company that is able to give you the autonomy and responsibility to grow their operations in the North of England?
This company specializes in the delivery of predominantly domestic-scale Renewable Energy and Sustainability projects with a big focus being towards ECO4 schemes such as Solar PV, Air Source Heat Pump and Insulation installations. They have grown significantly in the past year to about 100 permanent and contract staff, and they are now looking to expand their presence across England alongside a diversification of their services by moving into commercial-scale Ground Mount Solar PV projects.
In this role you will hold responsibility over the timely, efficient and safe delivery of Solar PV, Air Source Heat Pump and Insulation projects at domestic sites across mainly across the Yorkshire area, working remotely with frequent travel to sites. You will be managing relationships with customers whilst reporting on progress to the Head of Operations, and eventually being able to build a team around you in line with company growth in the region.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Project/Contract/Construction/Installation Management or Leadership position to do with domestic-scale Solar PV installations and will have gained any amount of experience to do with commercial-scale projects too.

The role:
* Responsible for multi-stage delivery of Solar PV and Heat Pump projects
* Monitoring project progress to ensure timely delivery to clients
* Liaising closely with installation team to provide guidance and oversight through construction
* Ensuring project is completed in compliance with internal standards and external QHSE regulations
* Inputting into business development activities such as expanding customer base and team growth
The person:
* Previous experience in a Management or Leadership position relating to Solar PV projects
* Some experience gained specifically in commercial-scale Solar PV projects
* Full UK driving license & comfortable with travel around Yorkshire & further afield when required
