Solicitor - Training into Renewable Energy

Central Belt Area - Hybrid Working

Excellent opportunity for a qualified solicitor coming from a commercial property background who is now looking to take the next step in their career by joining a leading legal firm who are offering training and development opportunities into the renewable energy sector.

This is a well-established Scottish law firm with a presence across the whole UK providing expert legal advice to businesses and individuals across the rural, energy and property sectors. They've gained a reputation providing an excellent service advising on land and renewable energy projects. Due to continued growth in this department they are looking to expand their team.

In this role you will have the opportunity to develop into the renewable energy sector whilst also focusing on commercial property matters, this will vary from advising on planning, strategic land and land rights to developing relationships on behalf of the firm with existing clients. You will also research into technical energy and commercial property matters. They have a specialist training academy to support further development and individual career growth.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a qualified Solicitor with a legal background in commercial property or renewable energy where they are now looking to build on their specialist expertise by benefitting from real development and progression opportunities.

The role:
* Deliver legal advice and services in property and energy law ranging from planning, land rights and renewables.
* Provide support on projects management on larger energy or land projects
* Drafting and negotiating contracts, offers, options, leases and ranking agreements for solar, wind and battery storage projects.
* Conducting research into technical energy and commercial property matters

The Person:
* Qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years PQE experience in property or energy
* Experience contributing to business development and marketing strategies
* Dual qualified Solicitor (desirable)
