Technical Manager
Leicester (Hybrid)
£45,000 - £60,000 + Growth + Pension + Holiday
An excellent opportunity awaits an individual coming from an electrical design background looking for a management position and join a specialist in state-of-the-art automated surface inspection machinery in a position offering room for growth, autonomy, and technical variety.
This company is an independent specialist in automated surface inspection products with a strong global presence.
In this role, you will play a pivotal role as part of the leadership team managing the overall system control functionality through overseeing the electrical design, implementation and build working closely with the sales, mechanical and software team. You will develop detailed electrical drawings and BOM. You will also support the relevant teams in surveys, support and commissioning which requires travel nationally and internationally.
The ideal candidate for this role will have strong experience in electrical design and have experience leading or managing technical projects from start to finish. This person will have relevant experience using electrical CAD software such as AutoCAD electrical. The right person will be prepared to travel nationally and internationally for planned client visits.

The Role:
*Technical and People Management
*Leading electrical design projects from start to finish
*Produce BOMs and detailed drawings using CAD Software
*Travel to customer sites in the UK and internationally when required.
*Hybrid-based position, with 3-4 days in the office in Leicester.
The Person:
*Experience in Electrical Design
*Good experience in project management/leadership
*Proficient with Electrical CAD Software
*Willingness to travel internationally for client visits when required.
*Reside within a commutable distance of Leicester.
