Leamington Spa - Commutable from Birmingham, Coventry, Northampton, Nuneaton, and surrounding areas

£30,000 - £36,000 + Annual Bonus (10%) + Training + Progression + Overtime + Private Healthcare + Monday to Friday (8:30am - 5:30pm, Friday finish at 5pm) + No Weekend Work + Excellent Company Benefits

Do you have experience with machine maintenance, and are looking for a site-based role with a UK leading distributor of CNC machinery who will support you in becoming an expert within the industry?

This is a brilliant opportunity to work within a close-knit team, on the latest machinery and technology within the CNC field. This role offers fantastic external & internal training, progression, and company benefits. Additionally, there is the good work-life balance of a day-based role, with an early finish on Fridays.

The company specialise in the supply, installation and service of CNC machinery throughout the UK. Due to their continued success and staff development, the business has experienced great growth over the last 10 years, and are looking for additional Workshop Engineers to support their expansion plans.

In this role you will be working on the pre-delivery inspection of the latest CNC and NC machinery, conducting thorough quality checks, assessing the functionality, and continuously reviewing new products and their mechanical & electrical systems. Extensive training will be provided.

The ideal candidate will have mechanical machinery maintenance such as work on pneumatics and hydraulics. CNC experience and an electrical maintenance understanding is desirable, however training will be provided. Ex-forces candidates are encouraged to apply.

The Role:

  • Pre-delivery inspection of the latest CNC machinery and technology
  • Quality checks of machinery, including the start-up phase and fitting of accessories
  • Recording of measurements and completing documentation
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the company's product range
  • Days-based with an early finish on Fridays


The Person:

  • Experience with the maintenance/fitting of CNC or similar machinery/components such as motor work, pipework, chassis fitting etc.
  • Understanding of hydraulics and/or pneumatics
  • An electrical understanding is desirable, however training can be provided
  • Ex-forces candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Engineering qualification is desirable, but not essential and training can be provided
