Assistant Plant Manager

Excellent opportunity for an Assistant Plant Manager or leader within the food industry to join a rapidly expanding organization offering career progression into senior leadership, training and great earning potential through bonuses.
On offer is the chance to lead teams of people working directly with the Plant Manager across a variety of production and engineering projects, including a brand-new equipment high-tech installation.
In this position you will work closely with the Plant Manager to coordinate and process raw materials to finished products to support daily production, through collaborating with maintenance, warehouse, quality and inventory teams. You will lead a team of supervisors and will be responsible for working on improvement projects, hiring new staff, planning, assigning and directing work and resolving any issues.

The Position:
- Work closely with the Plant Manager to coordinate and process raw materials to high quality finished products
- Collaborate with quality, warehouse, inventory and maintenance teams to meet production and organizational goals
- Play a key role in the installation of brand-new processing equipment across the plant
