Incredible opportunity to join a UK company experiencing significant US growth and is therefore seeking a key business hire to take ownership of its Dallas-based Network Operations Center!
With over 12 years of experience, this UK-based company has achieved significant international growth, particularly in the US. A year ago, they expanded across the pond by launching a fully operational Network Operations Center, where they partner with top brands to efficiently manage network operations. They are seeking a driven NOC operation director to take full ownership of the US NOC site in Irving Dallas. With 12 direct reports including level 2, level 3 Noc engineers as well as a NOC manager. You will take control of all operational change and improvements from the ground up! This site is fully operational but requires fine tuning and refinement at all levels!

The person
* An experienced NOC operations leader.
* Experience leading a growing NOC environment!
* Recently people management experience (NOC engineers / NOC manager)
* Skilled in driving operational change within a NOC (Network operations environment)
* Knowledge of Network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, etc.).
* Knowledge of NOC tools such as Jira, SolarWinds, Splunk, Nagios, or Zabbix.
The role
* Reporting to the VP of operations in the UK
* Leading a team of 12 NOC engineers and 1 NOC manager
* Driving operational change, refinements and improvements.
* Incident & Problem management, network performance & Security management, Process improvements & Documentation and Reporting
* Take full operational ownership over a 1-year-old NOC site
* Onsite Monday - Friday
