Permitting Manager (Town Planning - Renewables)

Bristol

£50,000 - £60,000 + Up to 30% Bonus + Company Vehicle + Hybrid Role + Specialist Training + Wellness Benefits


This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience or a strong interest in the renewables sector to join one of Europe's fastest growing renewable energy providers as they expand their land acquisitions and permitting across the UK.

This company has already established itself as one of the key players in the renewable energy sector over the last 17 years, with plants being opened across Western Europe, the US and South America, and they are now looking to firmly grow across the UK market with your help! This company are looking for experience candidates who have got experience in town planning submissions and EIA.

In this role you will be working closely alongside the company's headquarters in Spain and will have great influence over the location and the logistics of the company's new sites across the UK. You will also be responsible for leading the permitting elements for renewable projects including; Solar, Wind and BESS.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in EIA, Town Planning or similar. It would also be advantageous to have previously worked as a Senior Planner or EIA Coordinator.

The Role:
*Reviewing technical reports from other consultants
*Production of project programs
*Submission of planning applications
*Liaison with Local Authorities, public stakeholders and coordinating public engagement events


The Person:
*Degree in Town Planning, Environmental Impact Assessments, Environmental Consultancy or similar
*Experience of Town and Country Planning Act planning submissions
*Ideally previous experience as a Senior Planner or EIA Coordinator
