This is an exceptional opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with a construction experience, to work on a variety of projects within a leading demolition company who operate in the South West.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experience Quantity Surveyor to take a lead position with a growing Demolition contractor, offering project variety as well as playing a pivotal role in a growing companies success.
This family run Demolition company have been operating for quarter of a century, specialising in the demolition sector within the Residential and Commercial market working on renowned projects with values up to 10M. With growth plans to increase turnover in the next few years they're going to delve into the Civils and Groundworks sectors and increase their geographical location. Due to this expansion they're looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team.
This is a great opportunity you will be the sole Quantity Surveyor for the bussiness having the autonomy to make it your own in a growing company working on demolition, Civils and Groundworks of diverse commercial projects
In this role you will be based in the Office in Bristol, completing site visits where needed. You'll be involved from inception, right through to completion. This will include budget control, acquire sub-contractors and materials, arrange valuation reports and provide support to the commercial and site teams. You will be running multiple complex projects so will need to be highly organised.
The ideal candidate will have Quantity Surveying experience in the construction industry looking to join a key role for the bussiness where you will implement new strategies to streamline process.
The role
- Quantity Surveying
- Working on Demolition, Groundworks and Civils projects
- Overseeing sites up to 10M
- Managing Cost control of projects
- Sub Contractor management
- Working on Projects from concept through to final accounts
The person
- Quantity Surveying experience
- Experience in the construction sector
- Good knowledge of JCT and NEC Contracts
- Able to oversee multiple projects
- Looking for a stable role within a growing company
- Excellent written and verbal communicator
