This global market leader operates cutting edge manufacturing facilities producing and supplying their food and drink products globally. The company is going through an exciting period of growth and are recruiting a Mechanical Engineer to play a pivotal role in the Engineering department.
In this position you will be responsible for leading the mechanical integrity program and improving asset reliability ensuring plant equipment and manufacturing machinery are designed, fabricated, installed and maintained in a safe, environmentally friendly and efficient way. Your day-to-day activities will include developing inspection plans, conducting route cause analysis, be the site specialist for welding processes and to implement change to equipment maintenance based on reliability data.

The Position:
* Lead the mechanical integrity program for fixed equipment
* Develop inspection plans and repairs to a wide range of equipment such as pressure vessels and storage tanks
* Work collaboratively with senior leadership and engineering teams across a range of technically challenging improvement projects

The Person:
*Subject matter experience or mechanical reliability engineering background
* Experience working in ether food manufacturing, chemical, oil & gas, or power plant industries
* Experience working with pressure vessels, storage tanks or piping
* Knowledge of reliability engineering or asset improvement and maintenance
