Tender / Proposals Engineer - Control Panels (Technical Training)
£35,000 - £42,000 + Specialist Training + Career Progression + Flexible Work Hours (40) + Pension Scheme + 28 days Holiday ( increase 1 x day per years' service up to a maximum of 5 x extra days) Wellbeing Schemes + Employee Cash Benefit Scheme( Cash Back on Dentist/Opticians/Gym etc)
Office Based: Grantham - Commutable from Nottingham, Stamford, Newark, Billingborough and Surrounding Areas.

This company specialise in the design and manufacturing of bespoke electrical control panel systems for a range of interesting clients.
Due to company expansion and exciting client based growth, they are looking for someone who is motivated to progress their career, and as such will also look at design & build engineers looking to move into this position.
This role will suit an experienced Tender / Proposals Engineer or a Design & build Engineer looking for the next exciting step in their career with a company who values their employees in a varied & interesting role working on bespoke projects.
The Role:
- Producing bespoke tender from customer specification or site visit and subsequent discussion
- Tender for manufacture of control panels, associated software and control engineering content
- Develop and retain customer/ supplier relationships
- Working with customers and in house project teams to develop detailed project tenders
- Follow up tender submissions via telephone call to the customer
- Assist with Framework Applications (when required).
The Person:
- Experienced Tender Engineer or Control Panel Design looking to move in to a tender/proposals role
- You will have worked within an L.V. Control Panel Manufacturing environment and have the ability to tender for complex multi-panel control suites and complex PLC/ drive systems, including estimating times for CAD design, electrical and software engineering, system testing and commissioning.
