Branch Administrator / Hire Controller
Birmingham
Up to £25,000 (dependent on experience) + Progression Opportunities + Generous Annual leave+ Pension + Bonus

This company are a reputable construction firm globally, specialising in construction and engineering. They have earnt themselves a notable reputation for their high quality work among their clientele. Looking to expand the business with a number of exciting projects on the horizon, our client pride themselves on encouraging an enthusiastic environment whilst delivering a high level of service to their clients. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an ambitious and hard working individual to join the team working front of house.
In this role you will be based in their Birmingham office playing a crucial part in a number of day to day activities, such as preparing hire and sale quotations ad hoc, completing hire contracts, delivery/ collection notes and ensuring the companies procedures are being adhered to.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for organisation and want to progress and get hands on with ad hoc tasks working with a social team. You will ideally come from a similar administrative role within a construction environment. You will have good interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively across the company.

The Role:
- To acquire thorough working knowledge of all Company products that are available for hire and sale. You'll be expected to keep your working knowledge up to date, particularly when new products arrive.
- Prepare hire and sale quotations ad hoc. Follow up all quotations and endeavour to secure business for the Company.
- You are responsible for ensuring that the Company's procedure for bad debts and credit control are implemented and the agreed policy is effectively carried out.
- Have a due regard to Health & Safety and maintain responsibility around your working environment, other employees, customers and members of the public.
